I love this place (Tasman Lake) prob my favourite walk in the national park (the River walk which takes you down to lake level, the icebergs are right there and its the spot where the river flows rapidly out of the lake). The steep scramble over rocks and loose scree down to the lake is challenging but for views like this its absolutely worth it

I find it mindblowing to see icebergs floating on Tasman Lake in NZ on a 25 degrees summer day. I might be wrong but I think Aoraki is flanked on the left by Mt Sealy and on the right by Malte Brun and poss Mt Hutton on the right

This walk has been on my bucket list for years. This is shot from the Sealy Tarns Track. You can see the Hooker River flowinig into the Mueller lake, you can also see one of the two swing bridges in the Hooker Valley track crossing the river and nestled under the foot of Aoraki Mt Cook you can see the Hooker Lake (and some icebergs) at the far end of the Hooker Valley Track
